After initially pursuing a career in a different field, I turned to interior design, drawn to a discipline that brings together creativity, precision and functionality.
Today, Melissa Egido Studio is shaped by a sensitive and considered approach to space, with particular attention to materials, light, proportions and detail.
Every project begins with an understanding of the space and the people who live there. I consider how the space is used, how people move through it, as well as the light, materials and furniture, to create a cohesive whole rather than a collection of aesthetic choices.
